because sometimes they have good things to eat over there (did you check your other pocket? just asking...) but anyway, it's really fun because there's lots of kids and grownups who hang around there and have meetings and parties and ride bikes and do exercises and learn to use computers (whatever those are) and sometimes have BARBECUES outside, just like in this picture:
There are a lot of interesting things that have been going on around here. I remember they had spaghetti two times, hot dogs one time, vegetables (ick!) and cookies and cakes a lot of times. They also talked a great deal as humans usually do. If you really want to read about it you should click here. (Humans! So weird....)
Actually there is other stuff
that I care about besides food. (I mean besides food, of course, not instead of food...I'm not crazy.) Here, get a look at this picture, it's out behind the community center:

She rules totally. We've been together for 5 years, through thick and thin. (I didn't like the thin years very much...) But we're doing OK now. The Densons got us our shots and feed us, and sometimes we eat other places, too.
But we mostly like to hang around the community center because the people there are really nice. I can hardly ever remember human names (they all sound alike to me...) but click here for a list of the humans who come and help out, and also read a nice letter from April Wilson, director of the center, who cares about kids and grownups and dogs, too. (She bought me and Smiley some food! I LOVE her!)
But now I will tell you about someone I DON'T love. His name is George and sometimes he gives me food, but I know he has more and he's just too mean to give me ALL of it. When he's not looking, I go inside the center and see plain as day they have a giant refrigerator. Does he think I don't know what that is? He must be so stupid! He gets mad when he catches me inside the center and makes a mean face like this:
And then he yells at me, too. Am I supposed to be scared or something? I think he's just ugly. Smiley likes him for some reason, so I act nice to him on her account.
